Last night, Fire Boat 8, Airboat 8, and Boat 8A assisted with a search for a person in the Nanjemoy Creek. The units were staffed with a total of 8 volunteers, and additional crews remained at the station. Fortunately, the search ended when the person was located at a nearby residence.

These photos show the view from inside Fire Boat 8. For night operations, we use a combination of electronics to assist with navigation. These electronics include GPS, radar, and infrared camera technology, as well as a great scent lighting package.
