This afternoon, units were alerted for a collision with entrapment on Poorhouse Road near Stuckey Lane. Rescue Squad 8, Chief 8, and Chief 8A responded. Units arrived to find a single vehicle overturned in the woods with a single occupant partially ejected and pinned in the wreckage. Chief 8 established the Command. Rescue Squad 8 worked with crews from Rescue Squad 7 (Potomac Heights) and Engine 21-1 (NDW- Stump Neck) to free the pinned occupant. The patient was transported by PA11-9 (Bryans Road) to a landing zone for air transport to a trauma center. Engine 9-1 (Indian Head) handled the landing zone.

Chief 4 (Nanjemoy), the Western Medical Duty Officer (CCDES) and PA51-7 (DES) also operated on the scene.
