This afternoon, we held a member and family crab feast and cookout to treat our members for all the hard work they consistently do to support our department. We had a great turnout for the feast. Also, we took an opportunity to recognize Annastasia Walker for her contributions to our department. She joined our department just about a year ago. In that short time, she became a Nationally Registered EMT-B, Firefighter 1, and Emergency Vehicle Operator. She recently achieved ambulance driver status. She is soon being re-located by the USMC. We are hopeful that she is able to continue serving the community in the future. Good luck, Marine!
