A huge congratulations goes out to our Assistant Fire Chief Emmitt Newman. Emmitt is officially retired from the Naval District of Washington Fire Department. He served 26 years between the Walter Reed Army Medical Center Fire Department and the Naval District of Washington Fire Department. He retired as a Captain, spending his last few years at Stump Neck. Congratulations! We wish you a long, healthy retirement!
