This afternoon, several members trained towards becoming certified operators on ATV-8. Our training program includes a wide range of tasks. Our members must be proficient with off road operation. Most of the incidents the unit responds on are medical in nature, however we also have the ability to fight fires with the unit. Today, the members practiced drafting from a small stream to simulate firefighting in remote areas.
