Over the weekend, our crew traveled to the C & O Canal Lock 6 to complete our periodic refresher training on swift water rescue skills. We had a total of 16 technicians make the trip for the training, including one from Cobb Island VFD. The crews performed personal and team-based skills, as well as boat-based rescues. This type of training is invaluable and prepares us for the rising water situations we encounter during severe storms.
